Welcome

Rest, Pleasure and Play

What
We Do

  • Somewhere yoga became something else. Somewhere it became for someone else/from someone else. Here, it’s for all. Here we celebrate its ancient Desi roots.

  • Where we embody rest, play and pleasure.

  • Reconnect to ourselves and each other by finding who we really are: nature(?)

  • Coming together to talk, laugh, play and explore all the different ways of being in the world.

Why uncloud?

Our minds are fogged. With things. Often that don’t belong there. They’re not ours to keep. Together we’ll be curious, we’ll play and rest. Let’s clear our misty minds and see what’s there. What we are.

Who we are

  • I’m Santo (he/they). I come from a family of Calabrian farmers. Faced with poverty, they made a one-month voyage to brighter horizons and washed ashore in suburban Australia, where I grew up. As a queer person, suburban life for immigrants in Australia was a double-edged sword. It is both our freedom and my prison.

I found a silver teaspoon and dug my way out - I’ve lived and worked across continents trying to find wellbeing. I’m now studying a PhD in the subject. What does wellbeing even mean? (I still don’t know)

Years of not knowing means I know a thing or two, so I started Uncloud. Now we can not-know together.

Uncloud is for everyone. Uncloud is about learning everything we can about wellbeing and then throwing it out the window. Becasue what makes us actually happy we’ll only learn by listening to our own voice. Finding where it lives in our bodies. Unclouding what it means to live well is different for everyone.

  • It’s simple. We create space to connect with ourselves and the world around us. Because when we rest and play, we’re all better off.

  • " I don't really have the words for how extraordinary and moving this workshop was. All I can say is that learning to see raindrops on ivy, the flicker of candlelight on a brick wall, the eyes of strangers as gifts worthy of unlimited attention is a lesson I hope to carry with me for a long time."

    Imogen Malpas

  • "Forever grateful that such soft & radically kind community and spaces exist within the hustle & bustle of this concrete jungle."

    Issy Comley

  • “With Santo it was simple and graceful. His voice is so soothing and he was so present with all of us. It definitely opened a new perspective in me.”

    Flori Xafa

  • "Definitely needed during a time where it feels as though the world is at war with each other and we're powerless to stop it. Important reminder that it's important to use your strength to fight against oppression and to hold space for wonder. Harmony and community to value what we do have. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU"

  • "I’ve been amazed at Santo's ability to bring the group together and engage all our input, he is great with people, caring and thoughtful."

  • "One of the most carefully organised, highest value events I have ever been to in London, in an extraordinary space with welcoming, prepared and experienced facilitators. Blending science with spirituality and deep, shared experience, I came away from Awescape feeling moved towards a more connected way of life and full of ideas for my own artistic practices. Honestly could not recommend any team or event more highly.”

  • "It’s incredible what can be created when it’s approached with care and intention. It made me think how miraculous it was that most of us didn’t know each other and then found ourselves in this beautiful space with like minded people. The facilitators brought great sensitivity and kindness to how they led the session, which created an atmosphere of ease and comfort. I had such a wonderful time.”
